In 2009, we founded Canada Career Counselling with a purpose to make work a better part of life. What began as a career and workplace psychology practice grew as our work increasingly expanded beyond individuals to support organizations in building better workplaces. Birchwood is the firm we built to serve that work directly — a team of registered psychologists, executive coaches, and organizational consultants working with leaders, teams, and whole organizations.
Where Canada Career Counselling continues to support individuals with their careers and working lives, Birchwood focuses on the organizations, leaders, teams, and cultures that shape those experiences. Together, we bring expertise from both sides of the employment relationship — understanding work through the experiences of individuals and the organizations they work within.
